James, a key player in the 2015 Sustainable Development Goals, has managed the biodiverse South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands and now focuses on Arctic policy.

Jane, Head of the FCO's Polar Regions Department since 2007, has a rich background in environmental and public health policy. She joined the FCO in 2003 and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
